Greetings! This homepage is my attempt to sell my much loved freshwater aquarium fish straight to the local hobbyist. The emphasis is on fish that are suitable for local water and temperature conditions. Many commonly sold “beginner” fish don’t tolerate the local temperature fluctuations well. Other fish, considered difficult to keep, do well and can thrive. For the most part these fish will survive hot summers without aircon and temperatures around 21C or lower in winter. My endeavour is to make these fish available to you, without the need for trial and error on your behalf. Many years of fish keeping have gotten me to where I am today and I am keen to pass my knowledge on to you. Usually, the fish for sale are bred by myself, rarely they are sourced elsewhere, eg auctions, bulk orders, etc. Having experience with devastating diseases I am happy that my fish are in healthy condition at the time of sale but any fish can get sick depending on circumstances. I cannot take responsibility for what the buyer does at their home. Just because these fish do well in Sydney conditions does not mean they are set and forget. In most cases fish will do much better if live food is offered alongside commercial feeds. So not all fish are suitable for beginners. I am not a shop. This means I have limited supply at all times. I do not enjoy haggling and harrassment, so please refrain from these activities.
